Broken Link Checker
All internal and external links on your website are monitored and tested by Broken Link Checker to see whether they are broken or proper links. It enables you to remove broken links and boost SEO and user experience. The plugin will start scanning your posts, bookmarks (also known as blogrolls), and other information after it has been installed to seek links. This could take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or more, depending on the size of your site. The plugin will begin checking each link to see if it is active after parsing is finished.

Once more, the size of your site and the number of links determine how long this will take.
If any broken links are discovered, they will be displayed in a new tab of the WordPress admin panel called Tools -> Broken Links. The “Broken Link Checker” widget on the Dashboard will also provide a warning. Keep the widget closed and set it to expand automatically when problematic links are found to conserve display space.
