You must install the Really Simple CAPTCHA plugin before using CAPTCHA in your form because Contact Form 7 uses it as its officially-approved CAPTCHA module. Unlike many other PHP CAPTCHA solutions, Really Simple CAPTCHA maintains its state information in temporary files rather than PHP “Sessions.” You can now incorporate it into WordPress without being concerned about conflicts. When you make a CAPTCHA, Really Simple CAPTCHA creates two files for it: a text file containing the CAPTCHA’s correct answer and an image file of the CAPTCHA.
